Rochester - Henrietta area - looking for a professional, hard working individual who is an expert admin with great customer service skills and a strong ability to work with a diverse population!Job DetailsGreat position as an administrative assistant in a university setting!Assist coordination, operation and management of office services such as personnel, budget preparation, record control and special management services. Assure that clerical/support functions are efficiently completed. Operate standard office machines, including personal computer. Make appointments, coordinate meeting, arrange travel and lodging. Organize and maintain general office files. Take minutes at meetings when necessary. Review and answer correspondence, assist in preparation of budget needs, and annual reports. Receive and distribute incoming mail. Assure necessary confidentiality of information. Type/process letters, reports, purchase requisitions, local orders, vouchers and check request. Perform data entry when needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Three to five years experience which must have included the performance of responsible administrative duties listed above. Must have the capability to assume responsibility without supervision and work well with others. Computer knowledge, and ability to type and perform data entry. Knowledge of basic communication skills, including grammar, punctuation and spelling rules. Must be comfortable in a collegiate setting, and also working with a diverse groups of people. MS Office Suite is a must to include Word, Excel, Outlook |
