If you are a collections/AR Candidate this is the job for you!Job DetailsYou will be responsible for order processing; researching/responding to order and product inquiries received via phone, mail, fax and email; return processing, problem resolution and sales promotions. Includes rotating shifts covering hours of 7 AM to 8 PM and some Saturdays and Sundays during peak times. The Customer Service Account Management Supervisor will be responsible for leading a local and divisional team to establish best practices for A/R and regularly report on progress toward established goals.Create and maintain a proper working environment, which focuses on the maximization of personal development while fostering an atmosphere conducive to providing sensational service to both internal and external customers. Monitor and adjust team workflow ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity. Reporting to the Customer Service manager, the major tasks, responsibilities and key accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Approve various transactions including refunds, ability-to-pay allowances, discounts and write-offs Investigate special collection problems and confer with customers, customer service and account management personnel as needed Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve complex cash application issues Assist in the preparation of reports and analyses, setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations or conclusions Plan and schedule work to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate manning for subsequent performance of duties. Plan and conduct meetings with subordinates to ensure compliance with established practices, to implement new policies and keep employees abreast of current changes and standards Develop and recommend operating policies and procedures for Account Management department Initiate various personnel actions including, but not limited to, hiring, performance appraisals, promotions, transfers and vacation schedules, train new employees Skills: BA in Business/Accounting or equivalent work experience 3 - 5 years of Accounts Receivable/Payable experience preferred 3 + years of Supervisory Experience Oracle Financials Experience a plus Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies: Strong customer service-oriented and problem solving skills Effective organizational and time management skills Proficient in MS Office Suite Strong Analytical, Organization and Planning Skills Adaptability/Change Management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Detailed oriented, deadline driven, organized individual able to handle multiple tasks while working in a team environment Ability to work in a fast paced environment |
