In this Risk Management Specialist role you will provide critical support to the Risk and Credit Loss Prevention team as well s gaining valuable exposure to companies customer focus, systems, and operations.

The core responsibilities of the Risk Management Specialist will be largely focused around protecting companies from various forms of risk and fraud by reviewing transactions and accounts. Specialists will also work closely with Branch representatives, service teams, and other financial institutions.

Requirements
To be successful in this role you should be an energetic, self motivated individual, with 2+ years of financial services industry experience.

Bachelors Degree - Recent grads with work/internship experience in Business and Finance

You must be hard working, detail-oriented, and well organized with the flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of projects.

Proven analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills are required.

Outstanding verbal and written skills are a must as direct daily contact with customers and representatives is an integral part of the position.

Risk Management is a dynamic environment, so you must be able to effectively prioritize your work on an ongoing basis.

Proficiency with Excel and database software, and able to learn and use new technology in a short time frame is required.

Key Factors for Success in this Role:
Ability to identify and track current fraud trends by reviewing accounts and transaction content and quality.

Ability to identify situations where escalation is warranted and the ability to take action quickly in a high-risk environment.

Proactively identify and communicate opportunities to improve process and interact with team members and other employees, to promote effective working relations.

11am - 8pm Monday-Friday
$12.00/hr
