Medical Jobs and Application LPN/Medical Assistant - Penfield/Rochester

Private Doctor's office in Rochester looking for a full-time (32-40 hrs/wk) entry-level LPN or a medical assistant with 2+ years experience.

Job Details

Duties include:
- Assisting doctor with patient care as needed including removing sutures, removing and changing dressings, removing and applying casts (will train),
preparing surgical rooms, draw up injections, set up minor surgical trays, call in prescriptions at physicians direction, etc.
- Escort patients to the room, obtain history as appropriate and review with physician if significant.
- Check and maintain office stock for medical supplies - restock rooms daily at the end of each day.
- Clean and sterilize instruments as needed.
- Provide patient education as requested.

Requirements:
- must have reliable transportation to travel to two locations on a weekly basis
- outgoing, friendly, upbeat personality
- team-player, willing to learn
- 1-2 yrs previous clinical experience a must
