Job Details

Currently Hiring on A and B shift
Job Objective:
Responsible for performing packaging and related duties following established Standard Operating Procedures. Maintains accurate and compliant documentation on all activities.

Essential Duties:
Perform assigned tasks to meet the daily production schedule, operating at a functional level with regular supervision (Operation, Cleaning, Set Up). Other tasks include palletizing, bottle feeding, pack-off service, housekeeping and cleaning per set procedures.
Identify basic problems and communicate general operational issues to Management.
Provide input for opportunities for improvement, waste reduction, streamlining processes, etc.
Operate and clean moderately complex equipment.
Accurately complete required documentation.
Perform all tasks in compliance with standard operating procedures and cGMPs.
Function as a trainer, performing one-on-one training of specified tasks.
Project a positive image by setting positive examples of cooperation, ownership, responsibility & effective communication.
Other duties as assigned

High School Diploma or GED required.
One year of previous food/drug/chemical industry experience preferred.
Must understand and abide by the requirements for working in a regulated industry. These include cGMPs, DEA regulations, and HS&E requirements.
Must have basic math skills.
Must be available for flexible schedule and/or overtime. Days and hours of work subject to change due to production schedules.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead.
Routinely drives/operates lifts; works with chemicals, tools, and equipment.
Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention.
Manufacturing environment with variable but moderately high noise levels (hearing protection recommended). Must wear safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required. Must wear appropriate garments and coverings per cGMP (uniforms, hair/beard nets, etc.). No contact lenses, jewelry (rings, watches, etc.) or make-up.
