Job Details

Responsible for assisting with the maintenance of area buildings and light grounds work - they have a service for landscaping and snow removal. Assists in maintaining the appearance of assigned building, both inside and out. Picking up debris found on grounds, in lot, maintenance of woodwork, blinds, carpeting, tile, etc...Handles retrieval/delivery of confidential totes containing sensitive material. Changing lighting; bring major issues to bldg. coordinator. Understand bldg. fire system and assist in fire drills. Handles day to day work requests given on printed sheets from supervisor that can range from fixing someone’s desk, changing a light bulb, assisting with internal moves - which happens frequently, cleaning bathrooms.

Someone who is flexible, can deal with an environment and a job that is constantly changing - could be asked to do one thing one moment and something completely different the next. Someone who is good with their hands and wants to learn, they will teach them what there is to know re: the job itself. Not afraid to get their hands dirty and do work that is not glamorous, do not want someone who thinks or gives the persona that they are too good for certain work. Someone who enjoys working as a team and has good communication skills.

Candidates must have valid drivers license and a vehicle of their own prior to submittal; location to be determined but should be flexible to work at any of the locations -Penfield, Henrietta, Brighton

Hours/Days: Mon -Fri hrs are flexible 7:30-4 (1/2 lunch) 8-5 with an hour somewhere within 7a-5p 8hrs, but it must be a set schedule
