Our Benefit Plan Highlights

  • Direct Deposit Option: If you are interested please ask for a form to complete. Once signed up it takes 2-3 weeks to go into effect.


  • Pay Check Options: You have the option of picking up your check each week at our office or having us mail it to your house!


  • Paid Time Off Program: After 6 months (1,040 hours) of continuous service*, you are eligible to enroll in our PTO Program.


  • Holiday Bonus: Once you put in 1,040 hours of continuous service* & work your scheduled day before & after the holiday, you receive a Holiday Bonus worth 1/2 of your typical day's pay. (For Example - if you work 8 hr day at a rate of $10/hr - Bonus of $40.) The holidays include: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.


  • Referral Bonus: Receive $25 for each person you refer when they complete a minimum of 80 hours of satisfactory work. * - Continuous Service represents no break in employment for longer than 2 months.

Employment Guidelines

If You Are Going To Be Late Or Absent You Must

  1. You must call a minimum of 1 hour prior to the start of your shift.


  2. Call your supervisor.


  3. Call The Employment Store at 232-4880. If you are calling after hours make sure to leave a message in Voice Mail Box #22 including your name, assignment and reason for your absense.

Timecard Policies

  • Timecards are due Monday by 4pm (fax or original copy) with original copy due to our office by Thursday.


  • If timecards are not fully completed, it will delay your paycheck!


  • Timecards are YOUR responsibility, not your supervisor's.


  • Checks are mailed weekly to your address specified on your W4. If you want to pick-up your check you must complete a form.

When to Notify Us

  • We are your employer - Contact us immediately at (585) 232-4880 if you are going to be late, absent or encounter any problems on the assignment. If you are calling after hours make sure to leave a message in Voice Mail Box #22 including your name, assignment and reason for your absense. You must call a minimum of 1 hour prior to the start of your shift.

  • Sexual and other unlawful harassment: Actions, words, jokes, or comments based on an individual's sex, race, ethnicity, age, religion, or any other legally protected category will not be tolerated. An example, sexual harassment (both overt and subtle) is a form of employee misconduct that is demeaning to another person, undermines the integrity of the employment relationship, and is strictly prohibited. Any employee who wants to report an incident of sexual or other unlawful harassment should promptly report the matter to his or her Employment Store Supervisor at 232-4880. If the supervisor is unavailable or the employee believes it would be inappropriate to contact that person, the employee should immediately contact the President or any other member of management at The Employment Store. Employees can raise concerns and make reports without fear of reprisal.


  • Work Place Safety: All accidents are preventable and we your employer are concerned with the health and well being of employees, and encourage all workers to follow all safety policies of the Client Company. Please use extreme caution during wet, icy and snowy weather as we cannot be certain the Client Company understands the importance of good housekeeping and removal of ice and snow from parking lots and sidewalks. If you notice any unsafe or unhealthy working conditions while at the Client Company, please report back to us immediately at 232-4880.


  • Injury on the job: If you should get injured while on the job immediately report it to your supervisor at the customer's site, if they are not available call your Employment Store supervisor at 232-4880. If medical assistance is required, proceed to the nearest medical facility and inform them that it is a on the job injury. You will need to call your Employment Store supervisor so that we may complete all the necessary paperwork immediately following the injury.


  • No show / no call: If you are a no show / no call for an interview or a job assignment, The Employment Store reserves the right to remove your name from their files and no longer assist you in your job search.

Policies And Procedures

It is not possible to list all the forms of behavior that are considered unacceptable in the workplace. The following are examples of infractions of rules of conduct that will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. Although these policies should affect very few of our employees, we must state them for all employees. We will not be able to offer you any future assignments with The Employment Store if you violate any of the following policies:
  • Theft or inappropriate removal or possession of property


  • Falsification of timekeeping records or application


  • Working under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs


  • Possession, distribution, sale, transfer, or use of alcohol or illegal drugs in the workplace, while on duty, or while operating employer-owned vehicles or equipment


  • Fighting or threatening violence in the workplace


  • Boisterous or disruptive activity in the workplace


  • Negligence or improper conduct leading to damage of employer-owned or customer-owned property


  • Insubordination or other disrespectful conduct


  • Violation of safety or health rules


  • Sexual or other unlawful or unwelcome harassment


  • Possession of dangerous or unauthorized materials, such as explosives or firearms, in the workplace


  • Excessive absenteeism or any absence without notice. If you are absent for 3 or more days you will need a doctors note to return to work, unless it is approved time off.


  • Unauthorized absence from your work station during the workday


  • Violation of personnel policies


  • Unsatisfactory performance or conduct


  • Leaving the job without permission from your Employment Store representative.


  • Failure to notify The Employment Store within five days of the completion of your assignment. We will accept this as your voluntary quit.


  • NO personal phone calls are allowed on customer time. If you need to make a call do it on your lunch time and only local calls.
